June 2006 Update of the online data bank of the IMILA Programme (Investigation of International Migration in Latin America) The IMILA data bank provides information on the population born abroad as revealed through the national population censuses. It affords access to data on immigrants in a country and categories of emigrants on the basis of information derived from the censuses (1990 and 2000 rounds) held in the countries of the region.
