ECLAC Will Present in Mexico its Annual Report on the Foreign Trade of Latin America and the Caribbean

The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) will release a new edition of its annual report on the region’s foreign trade next Tuesday, October 29, at 11 a.m. (GMT -6), at the organization’s Subregional Headquarters in Mexico City.

The International Trade Outlook for Latin America and the Caribbean 2019 will be launched at a press conference presided by the Executive Secretary of the United Nations regional organization, Alicia Bárcena.

In this edition, the report analyzes the performance of international and regional trade in the last year and provides an outlook for the coming months. It also includes chapters focused on the role of trade in the environmental sustainability, and the relevance of infrastructure for trade and integration.

The report was prepared by ECLAC’s International Trade and Integration Division.
