The organization’s Executive Secretary, Alicia Bárcena, indicated that Latin America and the Caribbean “cannot be left behind” during a high-level Forum held in Beijing.
The Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) is taking part in two meetings organized by the World Economic Forum.
He stated that the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) has enabled the region to increase its strength of cohesion, action and influence.
