Negotiators, academics, international officials, business leaders and representatives of civil society analyzed the potential impacts of the Trans-Pacific Partnership at the regional organization’s headquarters in Santiago, Chile.
The objective of the Observatory is to introduce a systematic, plural and interdisciplinary perspective of the economic relations between both regions.
Both regions should adjust their strategies and policies to make use of the growing South-South trade potential, according to Antonio Prado, Deputy Executive Secretary of the Commission.
Specialists will examine experiences and opportunities in both regions in the fields of industrial policies, productivity and technological capabilities.
