The United Nations regional organization presented this proposal in the framework of the international conference against global warming that is being held in Paris.
The organization’s Executive Secretary, Alicia Bárcena, will present this proposal at the Third International Conference on Financing for Development, to take place in Addis Ababa.
Antonio Prado signaled that if the Caribbean is to achieve equitable growth in an environmentally sustainable manner, critical challenges will have to be addressed.
The event is co-hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the University of the West Indies (UWI) and the United Nations system in Trinidad and Tobago.
