Authorities and delegates from the region’s countries concluded the seventh meeting of the Forum of the Countries of Latin America and the Caribbean on Sustainable Development with a firm commitment to accelerate the pace for achieving the goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
The seventh meeting of the Forum of the Countries of Latin America and the Caribbean on Sustainable Development was inaugurated today with the presence of the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, Amina Mohammed.
According to a report by FAO, ECLAC and ALADI, climate change will affect crop yields, local economies and food security in Northeastern Brazil, Central America and parts of the Andean region.
