The seventh report on regional progress and challenges in relation to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development was presented by José Manuel Salazar-Xirinachs, ECLAC’s Executive Secretary.
Today the Third Regional Seminar on Social Development concluded, having convened Labour Ministers, academics, specialists and representatives of trade-union and employer organizations.
The main panels of this event will be transmitted live on December 13-15, 2022. The invitation on social media is to participate in the debates using the hashtags #ageing and #olderpersons.
Authorities and specialists are participating this Wednesday and Thursday, June 8 and 9, in a virtual international meeting organized by ECLAC and GIZ in the framework of a project financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
A new report will be launched virtually on Thursday, July 30, in a simultaneous press conference by ECLAC’s Executive Secretary, Alicia Bárcena, and the Director of PAHO, Carissa Etienne.
