ECLAC at First Caribbean Technology and Innovation for Digital Economy (TIDE) Conference

This week, ECLAC Subregional Headquarters for the Caribbean is participating at the first Caribbean Technology and Innovation for Digital Economy (TIDE) Conference, both as a presenter and as an exhibitor during the three-day conference, which takes place from August 25th-27th, 2015, at the Hilton Trinidad and Conference Centre in Port of Spain.

Two staff members from the Statistics and Social Development Unit, Mr Abdullahi Abdulkadri and Mr Francis Jones will deliver presentations on global open data trends and micro-data mining software respectively.

Staff of the Caribbean Knowledge Management Centre (CKMC) has set up a book display, and will distribute ECLAC publications and information resources to conference participants.  Key publications on display, which are also available from the ECLAC Digital Repository, include the following:
