The “I am a Youth of a Small Island” international competition is being organised by the United Nations (UN) Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA), the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), and other UN Partners to mark the mid-term review of the SIDS Accelerated Modalities of Action (SAMOA Pathway).

The 6th Council of Ministers of Environmental Sustainability of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), was held in Fort-de-France, Martinique, between 15 and 17 May 2019, under the theme “Towards a Sustainable Caribbean Society: Reinforcing Strategic and Durable Partnerships for Advancing Sustainable Development in the Eastern Caribbean.”
