Public consultation on the Escazú Agreement Implementation Guide

¡DEADLINE EXTENDED UNTIL 25 MAY 2022!

ECLAC, in its capacity as Secretariat of the Escazú Agreement, has prepared an implementation guide with the aim of contributing to the application of the Agreement, raising awareness on its content and providing guidance and support to better understand and comply with its provisions.

The guide was drafted by a group of international and environmental law experts and ECLAC. Furthermore, a broader group was identified on the basis of area of expertise and invited to review and make comments on the guide.

An online public consultation process of the guide will take place between 11 April and 25 May 2022 (extended deadline).

Interested persons are invited to submit views, comments and proposals on the text of the guide to the Secretariat by e-mail to secretaria.escazu@cepal.org, indicating "CONSULTATION IMPLEMENTATION GUIDE" in the subject.
